Born in New York City to Cuban immigrants, Greg Garcia comes from a family of business people who exemplified the meaning of savvy and determination. Greg has a longstanding fascination and love of numbers and received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1977. He graduated from the University of Georgia Law School with his J.D. in 1980 and received his LL.M in Taxation from Emory University Law School in 1989. He is admitted to practice in Georgia, Florida, and the U.S. Tax Court. Greg has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1981. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Western Circuit and American Bar Associations, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the American Association of Attorney CPAs and has earned recognition from his peers for his legal abilities and ethical standards as BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®. He is fluent in conversational Spanish and proudly rides a Ducati motorcycle.
